Marine le Pen has finally run afoul of EU regulations. The EU Parliament after accepting a request to strip her of her immunity cover, has evaluated the evidence and ruled against her.
This will leave Ms. Le Pen open to prosecution from French authorities for racial crimes and fomenting hatred.
The remarks had been made during the last electoral campaign in 2010. In it Le Pen likened the Muslim presence in France to the Nazi invasion of World War II of the French territory.
Of course Le Pen has already said she expected to be stripped because she is now persona non grata, a vociferous dissident of all that is wrong with France, in her words, and one who therefore must be silenced.
She even ventured that, if asked, everyone in France would express themselves similarly when asked about the issue of Muslim prayer in the streets.
Marine Le Pen's father was equally if not even more vocal about his racist views. His immunity was stripped after commenting that the Holocaust was just a footnote in World War II.
