A growing chorus of voices seems to be adding to what Israeli military asserted only a week ago: that chemical weapons were used in Syria against the insurgent and the civilian population.

He also said he believed that the Syrian dictator had used missiles to fight back the insurgency.

The loudest of the voices sounded from Turkey, where Prime Minister Erdogan has spoken on American News channel NBC about his conviction that Syria used chemical weapons against its people.

He also clearly stated that it was his belief that the Syrian army and its leader, Bashar al Assad had violated Obama's limit in the employment of arms by using chemical weapons a long time ago.  He was, in short, calling for action or at least for more action from the United States.

Erdogan is slated to meet with Obama on May 16, when he has promised to try and ferret out what U.S. action will be in terms of the Syria conflict.

Erdogan furthermore, is placing himself in the role of witness to the veracity of chemical attacks, stating that victims of the chemical onslaught were brought across the border to Turkish hospital, thereby bearing with them the signs of the attack.

The Turkish foreign Minister, Davutoglu, has ordered blood tests of refugees in Turkish territory to apprise the extent of the chemical weapon contamination, since some of them arrived wounded from suspicious cause, and their injuries could have stemmed from such attacks.
