AMERICAN 'SNIPER' KYLE DIES OF GUNSHOT WOUNDS AT A GUN RANGE IN TEXAS
The famous author of "American Sniper" , Navy Seal Chris Kyle was gunned down outside a Texas shooting range together with a friend by a 25 year old with military training. He was shot at about 3:30 in the afternoon. He was found dead together with his friend.
It appears that Kyle, who wrote a book about his prowess as a sniper, was targeted by the 25 years old, but the motive or connection is unknown at this time. Kyle has done 4 tours of duty and had 160 kills to his name, although he was known to prefer not to speak about the number, preferring to discuss how many he had saved by his successful hits in the field.
The episode, which has stunned many, is a further reflection of just how dangerous the gun crisis has become in the United States.
