MALALA'S GRIM FUTURE : THE TALIBAN EXPRESSED WILL TO KILL MALALA YOUSAFZAI AT SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE

When Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Taliban, two years ago, she shined a blinding spotlight on the plight of women in the Muslim world.  But not the known, or normal, or even third world muslim world, but that envisioned and implemented by Islamist extremists.

Their Islamic world would see the total annihilation of women's right, beginning with a woman's right to education, to almost every other aspect of a woman's life.  That enslavement of the female entity, and form, is what the Taliban envisions.  And it is trying to chew at women's freedom one school shooting at a time.

But the pushback has begun, and it has been given more momentum by Malala's almost fatal shooting and survival.

The wonderful, bright eyed girl, who was saved by British hospitals after being shot, is an example of how a tragedy can turn into triumph.

But her triumph also comports the shaming of the Taliban, as it should. And that, the Taliban cannot forgive nor forget.

In the Taliban's mind, killing innocent young girls is justified, if it means that female schools will shutter and women terrorized into some abject form of existence.

While they at first tried to deny responsibility for the crime, and even to say that it was not their intention to kill her, or some such drivel, the increased fame and the recent award of Nobel prize contention bestowed on Malala have infuriated the extremist, medieval Islamic group.

Their response has fittingly changed, revealing to all what all already suspected.  That is was not repentance, their first appeal, and that their true intentions were to kill her, and to silence all women who want an education forever.

And they are making good on this sentiment: they have just reiterated their 'fatwa' on the young girl, saying that they will indeed seek to end her life again, and try until they are successful.

In fact, the Taliban spokesman who expressed the 'fatwa', although it is not a true fatwa, since it did not issue from a holy man, has said that the killing of Malala would restore the pride to the Taliban, which has been besmirched by her survival and success in the Western world.
