THE MAN WHO SET HIMSELF ON FIRE : WHY HAVE NO NEWS OF HIS MOTIVE BEEN PUBLISHED AFTER A MAN SET HIMSELF ON FIRE AT THE CAPITAL BUILDING?

An African American man has died after setting himself on fire outside the Capital Building in Washington DC.  Men tried to stop the flames, but he died later of his extensive injuries.

However, the man had not been identified until now, and no news had been given about his motive for suicide.
Many people saw his act as a protest against the government shut down, imposed by tea party representatives who are trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act.  But such speculation has not been substantiated by any clue so far.

The gruesome suicide occurred on Friday around 4:30 pm, in full view of the crowd visiting the lawn.

The man, as he lay dying, thanked his would be rescuers, but he never uttered a word on what drove him to set himself afire.  Or if he did, the lack of lung capacity did not enable rescuers to understand his words.

But that man did have a name, and it was John Constantino. He was 64 years old.

To date, no one has been able to ascertain why he committed suicide in such a public and violent way.

In a strange aside, witnesses have said that a man was standing near the deceased man and set up a tripod and camera that was filming the event, but the photographer seems to have vanished after people started rescuing Constantino.
