Is someone trying to crash the conclave 'party'? Someone, dressed as a fake cardinal tried to enter the conclave posing as a cardinal today.
He was dressed in an attire that was convincing enough: he was seen shaking hands and speaking with the Curia until someone with a keener eye realized what was going on.
The intruder, who had been trying to get a seat in the conclave to protest the child abuse scandal that has engulfed the church, was quickly plucked from the floor and dragged out uncerimoniously by the Swiss Guards.
As he was been ousted, he took care to yell out his protest, aiming his vocal rant at the Vatican's policy of relocating known paedophiles from parrish to parrish in the past decades.
