LAW ENFORCEMENT CAUGHT LYING UNDER OATH; NYPD LIED TO LOCK UP ACTIVIST

Activist demonstrations often end up with people being carted off.  But such arrests are not as benign as they seem, even if they are made according to law enforcement to keep the 'order'.

But in many cases, law enforcement might take in activists who have broken no law, and in one specific case they made up lies to make a case for themselves in order to justify their actions.

In New York city an activist was arrested a year ago and detained, but has been found not guilty last week on charges of assaulting a police officer.

The charges, which had been used as justification for the arrest, were brought after one member of the New York Police Department swore under oath that he had been assaulted during the course of the manifestation.

However a video surfaced that has now contraddicted the NYPD statements, and has brought to light the fact that the deparment has lied under oath to justify its detainment of the activist in question.

The incident occurred on December 17, 2011, during a Occupy Wall Street protest. when the police trapped some protester by using netting, and the activist indicted on felony charges fell down.  But the Police construed the incident as an outright attack by the activist against the police force.  They even claim that his attack was so forceful, that one of the officers suffered a broken bone.

That is, until a video of the skirmish surfaced that completely contradicted the police department's story.  Fortunately for the activist, the video shed an unmistakable light on to the incident.  But without it, it would have been a completely different story.

The jury, after seeing the video, rendered a verdict of not guilty in favor of the activist arrested.
