JINDAL'S HIDDEN AGENDA : VOUCHER SCHOOLS TO ADOPT RIGHT WING SCHOOLBOOKS

Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal was once considered a good presidential candidates because of his soft approach and a seemingly compromising, middle of the road political plan.

But that was just a smokescreen designed to help Louisiana win more votes for his party.

What really shows Jindal's true colors is what he does in much less visible ways.

Jindal, a fervent supporters of voucher schools, forever the darling project of republicans who are trying to undermine the public school system in favor of a private or church system that would see not only an education that imparted a more conservative thought in its pupils, seems 100% in favor of allowing children to be taught misinformation.

A new report shows that voucher schools in Louisiana have textbooks that depict any liberal movement, whether it is the flower power movement of the sixties or the feminist movement of the seventies, as a negative, sinful and unlawful behavior.

In fact one of the textbooks chapter on the hippie movement, depicts hippies as a club of drug addled, dirty, sinful, law breaking misfits, who were probably cultists or satanists, who were led to such aberrant behavior by Rock and Roll music.

According to Mother Jones, the textbooks are rife with ridiculous political statements, and some or all of the textbooks teach revisionism, arguing that the earth is only 6,000 years old.

It is hard to believe in the earnestness of someone like Jindal, or any republican politician, who tout the school voucher system as the only way for low income children to receive a good education, when their intention is to use the system to deliver a well planned and long term propaganda through its ridiculous and unscientific books.
