FAMOUS MOGADISHU BEACH HIT BY SUICIDE BOMBER

The agency France Press has released news of a serious suicide bombing on the famous Mogadishu beach called Lido, a tourist destination.

The bombing took place in a double attack, and very close to the beach which is usually packed with people, locals and otherwise, who seek a place away from the chaotic and violent city.

At first a car bomb went off, and when people rushed to see what had happened a man filled with explosives detonated his charge.

There is yet no confirmation on the death tolls, with a preliminary assessment of possibly three people dead and ten wounded.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but there is strong suspicion that the rebel extremist group Al Shabaab is behind the attacks.

The group has vowed recently to increase its offensive of violence against the Somalian government.
