BRITAIN'S EFFORTLESS ABANDONMENT OF TIBET : THE UK DECLARES IT WILL NOT SUPPORT TIBET'S CLAIMS OF INDEPENDENCE

The British government has announced that the UK will not support Tibet's claim of independence.

The statement came from William Hague, British Foreign Secretary  during a conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

It was only one year ago, that Prime Minister Cameron courted controversy with China by hosting the Dalai Lama.  Although at the time the Prime MInister rejected the notion that he should not receive the aging Bhuddist Lama, the UK's relations with the Chinese prompted the UK government to reject the Dalai Lama's appeal to support Tibet's struggle for independence, as is evidence by this last official statement on the matter.

It is apparent, and without a doubt, that keeping good relations with China is of paramount interest to the UK, therefore any claim or appeals by Tibet, will be handled in such a way that it will come as a detriment to China. That without it being said, is an unequivocal message to Tibet to surrender to China's sovereignty, and its occupation of the Tibetan lands.
