Just today, the United Nations have published new numbers on the documented deaths so far in the Syrian conflict.
Navi PIally, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, has said that 92,901 deaths have been officially recorded to April 30th, which means that the total number is fast approaching the six figure mark.
The rate of killings is not only unabated but has gained a faster pace, with an average now of 5,000 deaths each month.
The true number of deaths however could be much higher, by factors.
Because the United Nations cannot officially report deaths that do not bear full identification, i.e., the name, date and location of death, those who do not have the complete set are usually excluded.
However, the U.N. has documented 263,055 deaths.
The worse hit areas have been Damascus, Homs, Aleppo and Idlib
