A new study published today in the New York Times shows what is expected from global warming and the rise of the oceans from the ice melt in the polar regions.
The progression would be as follows:
5 feet rise - between 100 and 500 years
12 feet rise - by 2300 if few cuts are made to existing levels of emissions
25 feet - coming centuries
