A Chilean sect was discovered to have sacrificed a baby girl on a bonfire because the sect believed she was the antichrist.
The girl was placed on the sacrificial pyre when she was still alive. The baby, which was only a few days old, was brought from Valparaiso to a hill nearby and 'sacrificed'. The mother of the child had consented to the sacrifice and was part of the sect.
The baby was taped about the head to stop her from screaming. After a ritualistic ceremony they threw her on the fire.
The leader of the sect, Ramon G. Castillo Gaete, in on the run and is now on the most wanted list.
The disturbing aspect of this sect, was that almost all of the members were professionals. Every one of them holds a university degree.
