POSSIBLE US MILITARY INTERVENTION IN SYRIA LEAKED BY UNNAMED OFFICIAL

The Israeli press today has released information that the role of the U.S. in the Syria war might just get a whole lot more involved.

The unnamed Pentagon source they cite, in fact, has related news that the U.S. is making preparations that would see it in action in the Middle East very soon.

The intensified planning is in the works, the official says, in light of the renewed use of chemical weapons by the Syrian dictator, which was apparently confirmed yesterday in a second incident of chemical agents use that was caught on camera by rebels on the ground.

The unnamed Pentagon official also took pains to specify that there will not be a ground offensive, but that air strike are the most probable military solution.  Possibly even the use of cruise missiles might be in the works.

Although Israeli officials have denied wanting to force the U.S. into the conflict, they are reasserting that their role is not to beat the war drum, and that the U.S. has to make the decision entirely on her own.
