A VERY STRONG EARTHQUAKE IN THE SEA OF OKHOTSK IS DAMAGES STRUCTURES 6000 MILES AWAY.

The sound you are hearing is the sonorization of the earthquake that struck the sea off the west coast of Kamchatka.  The 8.4 earthquake has damaged structures in Moscow, 6000 miles away.

The earthquake struck at almost 450 miles below the earth's surface, an unusual event.  Usually powerful earthquakes of this magnitude are at much shallower depths.
