GUN CRAZY : ANOTHER MASSACRE IN CALIFORNIA PUSHES THE ISSUE OF GUN CONTROL TO THE FORE

A crazed gunman yesterday killed 4 people and wounded many others in a rampage that took him to several locations in Santa Monica, California.

The gunman, completely dressed in black, targeted people randomly in the seaside resort town, after an initial incident at his home.

He was shot dead a few hours later in a shootout with police, in or about a community college library.

President Barack Obama was speaking at a fundraiser at a location not far away from the incident, although there seems to be no relation between the gunman's actions and the president's event.

The first two victims however, seemed to be the gunman's father and brother.

The gunman was carrying an AK-15 rifle, rendered infamous in the Newtown shooting earlier this year.

The college where the gunman wandered to and then was killed was in a complete panic, with people spilling in the street as an emergency evacuation was ordered.  Even famed KCRW radio station, which broadcasts inside the college, was evacuated.

The authorities have withheld the identity of the gunman pending the autopsy results.   He was believed to between 25-30 years of age.
