The Jackson family myth has always been sold as an idylilc concoction of talent and iron willed strength. Behind the facade however, lie incredible tales of abuse, beatings, and brotherly strife.
If anyone thought the Michael Jackson saga was over with his death, he/she would be wrong. Apart from keeping his memory alive for the sake of sales, there is in the Jackson family a vampire-like quality of going after every dollar.
It is no secret that Jackson pere, and now it seems mere too, have profited handsomely from forcing his children into grueling musical careers since a young age. But his mother, Mrs. Jackson had always given off an aura of motherly caring and matronly goodness.
The lawsuit she has filed and her actions following her most famous son's death speak of despicable money grubbing materialism, which breathe new life in the often stifled tales of the Jackson family's darkest past.
Mrs. Jackson has filed a 40 billion, yes, with a b, lawsuit against entertainment giant AEG, contending that they had not done due diligence in vetting her son's concierge physician. Their alleged negligence is, in her eyes, the single cause of her son's death, and if this writer may say so, the end of a financial lifeline to which she was accustomed to.
It almost defies credibility, that Mrs. Jackson, knowing full well her son's battles with addiction, would turn the culpability of that addiction on an outside entity. But such are the perils of show biz.
What this story should warn people about, however, is the use of concierge physician, who are in several instances choosing a concierge career to move away from a practice that has failed, or have been fired from a hospital or likewise organization.
AEG for their part have already signified their intent at laying bare Mrs. Jackson's motives. To them, it is simply extortion.
What is more interesting, is that Mrs. Jackson herself might be scrutinized for her present and past behavior, something that so far she had avoided, no matter how base and venal her behavior had been.
